Does being rich means someone is happy?
Singapore is a prosperous country however research and surveys have shown that Singapore is not a happy country. Singapore has a high standard of living and most working adults feel that earning more money is important. However, this has lead to a stressful and unhappy society.
Being rich does not mean that someone is happy. For example, my parents have lower income compared to many who are in the working world. However, my parents spend a lot of time with me and family is definitely the most important in my parents eyes and I also feel the same way. Many people always commented how I would always spend time overseas every year with my family and would say that I am very rich. However, I feel that we should also spend time doing what we like using the amount of money we have earned and also save some at the same time.
