Being one of the most prosperous countries, it does not mean that we are the happiest as well. In fact Singapore is actually one of the least happiest countries in the world.
Money cannot buy happiness. For example, we cannot built friendships and relationships with money and instead with trust. Everyone has their wants and needs, and people tend to buy their wants more than their needs. Buying all the wants does not necessarily provide happiness.
People in poorer countries are happier than we are and that is because they are satisfied with what they have and are grateful towards it unlike we who treat it for granted. Thus, we should be grateful for what we have and be happy is the most important.
