3-2-1 lesson reflection on 1 chid policy

3 things I learn

1. The one child policy is implemented in overpopulated countries such as China to control the population of China by limiting the number of offspring to one. This helps to adjust the population level of countries to the ideal level.

2. The one child policy has its advantage. one such advantage is that parents can spent more time on their one children instead of having their attention spread out to multiple children. also having only one child also helps with the finance of the family because only one children is being supported, leaving more money to buy better things for the only child.

3. The one child policy also has its own disadvantages. Giving birth to only on child means there is less young people in the society to help take care of the aging population. There would not have enough young people to develop the country when the older generations retire.

Two perceptions gained

1. There always two sides to a rule. Each rule or decision has their own pros and cons although there might be more pros than cons, so we must consider if the decision will solve the problem or will create more problems.

2. Everyone has their own opinions and we should listen to their opinions before saying their idea is lousy or useless.

1 question I have

1. Are there better ways to solve the problem of overpopulation in China?
